The GREE Sapphire mini split is a single zone system. It consists of one outdoor condenser or compressor connected to one indoor wall mounted air conditioner by a series of copper wires or pipes. A 1/4" x 1/2" line set is not included with your mini split system and must be purchased separately. Single-zone systems give you complete control over the climate environment in the room, floor, or general vicinity where the indoor unit is physically located.

Mini split size is measured in BTUs, or British Thermal Units. The size refers to their cooling capacity and ability to heat or cool rooms of certain square footages. A mini split must be in a properly sized room to perform properly. The Sapphire system is available in 9,000, 12,000, 18,000, or 24,000 BTU models to efficiently operate in different-sized indoor areas. GREE Sapphire mini splits are built with certain components to provide optimal heating and cooling services. The variable speed two-stage compressor allows the Sapphire to heat and cool any indoor area in even the most extreme outdoor climates … it can heat your home in temperatures down to -22 ℉!
